Canyon Lake Indian Beach
Location: On Continental Drive between Golden Gate Drive and Cinnamon Teal Drive
Indian Beach is one of the favorite parks in Canyon Lake. There are barbecue pits, many benches and permanent restrooms. State of the art playground equipment ahs been provided by the Jr. Women’s Club and the POA for children to enjoy. The outdoor stage, complete with electrical outlets and lighting, is the venue for performances by the community’s Community Theatre and Performing Arts Association. It also is the site each summer for the popular military band concert, sponsored by the Home Owners Club.
A project by the Community Theatre and Performing Arts Association, with the cooperation of the POA, has transformed the area in front of the stage into an amphitheater for the many productions the group presents there each year. Thus, when the curtain goes up under the canopy of eucalyptus trees, the area turns into the “Moonlight Theatre.”
Indian Beach also has a large, sandy beach for swimming and sunning as well as a dock for the loading and unloading of boat passengers.
